Let's try to hit the ground running this time. :)

I would love to get started porting Space Game to Switch. You could pass a Joycon to a friend and play with them either in Vs or co-op. Also any emulators would not only be portable, but also have easy local multiplayer functionality.

Fail0verflow implied console hacking to be dead with the onslaught of smartphones and tablets, but the Switch is a very interesting little machine that I would love to write code for and have a community behind.

So I guess the point of this thread is this question: what sort of homebrew would you look forward to using in the Switch?

Cart Dumping from userland! If it's possible, at least.

Like we can do with Decrypt9 on a modded 3DS. I dunno.

Edit: Yes, I know how unlikely that is, right off the bat.

    Well, obviously Homebrew Appstore :)
Android would also be pretty nice (maybe they used some opensource bootloader like UBoot like in the NES Mini, as they are both ARM platforms ? (But Unfortunately I highly doubt that))

May as well run Android on it, it's a tablet afterall. Or maybe run the Nvidia Shield OS ... :D

Nah, it probably couldn't handle that.

Assuming the gpu is similar and there is a way to install a custom boot loader you could definitely get android running.
